Zinggg, just when you thought couldn’t love Pat any more!
Only the Australians who think cricket is a game for gentleman instead of playing to win.
Now re-write/re-read this in Trump Speak/Voice.

That is a brilliant response. Very droll. Good on Carey for returning the favour to Bear’s Toe. On that dismissal hinged the result of this test. While Johnny was there, Stokes had all the support he needed to reach the target, after he was gone the enormity of the task was simply too great. Australia did there best for a while to let England back into the game with some rubbish bowling which got what it deserved by being duly dispatched over the boundary.
This misattribution (or at best non-useful description, given it provides a two-year spread to guess when it happened) has happened (at least) twice now.
The article lists a few examples to make England look even more stupid:
You’re new here, aren’t you.
Thanks for posting that Speedy. This was also covered in part by Uzzie when he spoke to Tubby after the match. l was interested in what he had to say but by then l was a bit too tired to post relating to it.
I hope Australia’s response to Baz McCullum saying they won’t have a beer with us is a long the lines of “we don’t want to drink with losers, anyway”.
Australia could genuinely 5-0 this series (pending weather), I think. They’ve won the first two tests and only sporadically played their best cricket.
Worth noting that, despite claims otherwise, Marnus was NOT batting outside his crease when Bairstow attempted this run-out/stumping two days ago.
“Would I have wanted to win a game in that manner? The answer for me is no,” Stokes said.
Love the poms sooking on this one. As if their some bastion of the integrity of the game. Hilarious
And the coach. And Bairstow (he did the exact same thing two days ago, FFS!). They should probably shut the ■■■■ up now because they’re looking pretty damn stupid.
Well said by both of them.
And as if Australia only won because of the stumping.
It was a key moment but they had plenty of other moments they stuffed up and need to take ownership of. We dominated probably 75% of that test and were deserved winners.
I’ve never seen so much carryon over a legitimate dismissal.
