Thinking about the future of cricket and furthering NZs interest/participation. Is it worthwhile looking at the joined setup in both countries to strengthen first class cricket?
Ie add a north and south side from NZ to a shield comp and then go back to one major city t20 for each state and then add 3 sides from NZ.
This Aussie team just does not give up.

Pretty sure Matt’s son is Sam, and he had to choose between cricket/AFL.
Matt has 2 or 3 sons of which one went to footy I think
