WHAT
Okay, where has this bloke come from?

Promote this man to number 4! Outrageous!

An edge flies over slips for 4 to void the follow on. Next minute Akash goes bang for 6. A huge shot.

so we get the wicket now we can still bash 5 overs and declare . ther won’t be a result anyway . they will still be under the pump

This Test will be a draw. Whatever chance we had was lost first ball of the day. Don’t want to put too finer point on it, but you remove Rahul then, that’s 50 less he makes, but also you run through the rest a little quicker. We had to dismiss them for somewhere in the 150 region and enforce the follow-on when we were still fresh enough to back up. It’s all semantics now. We will drill them in Melbourne and Sydney. India are putrid.

Whatever play is left tomorrow is just batting practice now. Make Bumrah bowl as much as possible and possibly ping something. Don’t call it off early and keep them out there as long as possible

None for none.
None for none.
Get the wicket and declare.
Do it, you soft bastards.

There’s no way we were getting another 10 wickets anyway. Just get them before the new ball.

Akash goes bang for 6, next moment the chumps drag them off for poor light. Go figure.

Think we’ll probably just cop the draw on the chin given our lack of bowling options.

Feel like Smith is getting way more grief for his misfield than Cummins the night before…

Which part of that surprises you?

I don’t know…Is it because Cummins is more woke?
I mean…both of them are hated by people who pretend to like cricket…

This has a Sydney 2020-21 feeling about it. I’m really happy India has finally shown some fight and grit instead of just rolling over.
