Are you sure he’s not faking this so he can eat your awesome looking food?

 it’s funny you should say that. My mum said about 1 hour ago that he might start faking it after we put him back on his normal food just so he keeps getting the good stuff.:+1:

Interesting, this is similar to what we were told over a decade ago, to start getting our then pup to learn something was wrong/naughty.

They said to say “NO” in a gruff voice so it sounded almost like a bark. Still works to this day.

And I suppose it might also make me sound a little bit less like a twat.

Yoshi has been sleeping really well. Only waking us for toilet breaks. So I was a bit surprised when he was whining at 5.20 after a 4.45 break. I took him out onto the lawn and he just bounced around like a lunatic with what looked to be a big smile on his dial. Talk about sucked in.

I had some friends mind our dogs overnight once. Floyd would go around to the husband’s side of the bed and tap his paw near the guys pillow. Thinking he needed a pee, the poor guy would get up and as he passed him on the way to the door, Floyd would just jump up and replace him in the bed. Heavy dog too - hard to move.

Many years ago now - he was a legend. Very happy on the bed thank you (squeeze in on the edge & grab a tiny bit of pillow if you can!!) - flashing his impressive jewels!

Puppy’s lockdown has ended, with the 10 day countdown post her 12 week shots concluding this weekend.

This is what the aftermath of a couple of walks followed by a Mother’s Day full of people looks like…

It’s glorious… the little bugger has so much energy to burn off now…

Haven’t had a Dog for a while, but I would be 1 of 8, and only because he’d greet me before I got inside.

Xmas gift was the leftovers.

We would wrap Christmas presents (usually dog toys) & put them under the tree. The Labrador always managed to find his squeaky toy before Christmas so we had to put the dog presents on the mantle piece. One year I caught him walking off very happily with another gift which was round in shape- he must’ve thought it was a ball for him.

This Christmas, I’m buying my dog a membership in the AMWU (Metalworkers Division).

If you kick him up the bum, he’ll make a spring for your balls and then a bolt for the door.

Ouch! Not uncommon for the breed as you know. Out of interest I googled Koolie puppy biting & there were quite a few forum discussions and ideas about how to manage it - also on German Shepherd forums too. Might be worth a look if you haven’t already.
(& a chat to the breeder for ideas if you haven’t already)
