Mix it in with a good dry food, as even a Black Lab thinks it tastes like crap and mine would eat rocks.

Yep. I use to add olive oil. Same same but different. Egg too.

Sure!

After a fair bit of research, we got the Mighty Munch meal topper:

It only took a few days for his itching to stop. It expensive, but it lasts a long time. I was just remarking to Mrs H after this post, how glossy Eddie is looking. However, didn’t stop his Labrador shedding!!

Good luck!

I’ve been feeding the new pups Black Hawk Puppy Chicken kibble because it’s what the breeder had them on.

They were itching and scratching - have changed them over to Eureka Kangaroo - itching has stopped.

My wheaten also had the same reaction to Black Hawk chicken.

Not condoning what they have done, but I think you should really look into the dog barking thing.

We have had new neighbours move in about 6 months ago with a German Shepard. This dog barks continually when there is no one home, yet is quiet when they are home.

The answer is clearly not to harm the dog, but boy can it be irritating especially when the kids are going to bed at night and it just barks and barks and barks. As soon as the owners return, the dog goes silent.

Hi thanks the reply.

On this specific occasion that the chocolate was thrown, our dog barked for a total of 6 minutes during the day.

Other neighbours have had similar harassment, and 1 in particular didnt even have their dogs with them as they were being looked after at another house whilst they travelled to Europe.

Another neighbour has recently been harassed for playing music on a Sunday afternoon.

Not one neighbour has expressed any concern about any of the dogs nearby as none of them bark regularly and ongoing.

In your example, ongoing barking at night is a problem and the owners should do something about it.

In our case, its not the dogs, its this farkwit neighbour

Yeah cool. Have you reported them to the police? I have 2 labs and they will certainly eat the chocolate if it’s there!

In the experience of our neighbourhood , the problem of big dogs barking at passing foot and road traffic was resolved when the dogs were kept in the back yard and the back of the house, away from the windows facing the street.

I have made several police reports over the years.

Without any clear footage of the suspect, Vic Pol cant do anything.

That’s ridiculous!

We have a large non see through gate in our driveway and last year I added another gate to keep our lab in the backyard at all times.

This matter isnt a barking dog issue, its a nutcase neighbour issue that refuses to make contact with people and believes anonymous harassment is the best approach.

I even had a sign printed on my front fence with my phone number requesting they call me. My number was on the fence for over 2 years. No call
