You should see him with his bombers beanie on ![]()
Well, that is something to be shameful of at the moment.
RSPCA girl has just left. Dropped off a no name as yet Labradoodle. Thinks he’s about one to one and a half years old but definitely looks a lot younger. Put some pics up tomorrow.
Blitz, meet Jasper. Skinny little thing but definitely not timid. And Fergus showing no interest whatsoever.
This is really wonderful. You’re a good human. Hope it goes well for all of you.
Thanks for the photos. Keep us in the loop with Jasper’s progress. Good on you and MrsTH. ![]()
Look forward to hearing of Jaspers progress.
Girl from the RSPCA gave him the hair cut but he still smelt pretty bad so bathtime for Jasper but don’t tell the grandkids there was a jasper in their tub
Then one contented little dog. He’s still not sure about food in a bowl and apparently none of them like their head touched from the front as that’s how they were handled. Head grabbed, lifted, and moved to wherever.
Sorry about the Jasper overdose. I’ll let him grow some fur back before the next pics.
I’m happy to see as many Jasper pics as you post!
Will be great to see his progress.
Great work THammer.
Me too. Keep up with the pics and news.
Me three - really heartwarming to see that he’s with you. ![]()
The last one hahaha
Cats learning to fight back against their enemy.
What a lovely boy, and a lovely thing your family has done for him.
If you want to work on the head touching thing try offering treats with an open hand then when the treat is accepted give a gentle rub on the side of the head. Increase the touching over time as and if it becomes accepted. It will help a lot once you’re out and about and everyone wants to greet your little lad.
This worked really well for our greyhound who associated head touching with being muzzled. Now he demands head rubs. ![]()
Also don’t ease up on the pics, we’re loving sharing in your journey.
Any more Jasper news? Would love to know how he’s doing.
Still not 100% house trained yet, hence the pet cage for nights. He can sit, lay down and shake hands. Very fast learner considering he’s 14 months old and has never been taught anything. Walking fairly good on a lead. Runs free every morning with Fergus and comes when called.
He doesn’t realise though that next week he loses his gonads, poor dog. But thems the rules.
He’s glorious, what a long way you have come!
