I think he is a player who is a VFL gun, but won’t translate well to AFL level.

I won’t even mention that you made the same statements about Tippa.
As far as Hind goes he certainly has pace and he uses it in to advantage. He gets plenty of his own ball. He kicks pretty well on both feet even at pace. He can play in multiple positions, inside or out. He is more often than not in the best players.
I like him and I think he’s got that Mr fix it, can play most position thing going on.

It’s an interesting one.
Can’t see it happening but worst case scenario he is depth for 12 months.
Would probably be at the expense of giving players like clarke etc opportunities so probably a no.
I still reckon he is good enough to play afl.

I don’t think he’s going to play the roles he does in the VFL in the AFL. I also don’t think he’s good enough one on one for the sort of position he would have to play at the higher level. Won’t be upset if I’m wrong, because he’s a very nice bloke. But I don’t think I am.

It’s funny to me the that we have the “oh god not yet another half back flanker” blitz meme, but at the same time the half backs are year in, year out, our VFL players who generate the most excitement on here.

Tend to agree.
He is equally poor by foot as Hartung imo.
His turnovers by foot in the AFL would result in many scoring opportunities for a well drilled side.
Problem with Hartung is he doesn’t have a club.

I would have thought Ballantyne showed last week that he still has some tricks, and has kept a lot of his pace.
Barlow never was quick but makes Jobe look like Colyer in the speed stakes.
