Mate, mate it’s a drought here on the Goldy and I need to pump mega litres of precious water into my garden to keep it alive. This just after record floods.
Don’t get confused, this is Lucifersland.

Take it to the Hot Chicks and Random Beaches thread. Wish we had a thread like that
It’s okay I guess.
It was somewhat transient…
Short lived. Makes it more precious
I don’t recall the precise details why, but as much as I’m happy with it ( up to a point) , the site owner had to instruct us to take the hot chicks thread down last time.
adsense american puritanism
Apologies, I had no idea there was a previous Hot chicks thread
You missed a lovely thread.
What a shame. The hot chicks thread only lasted an hour and I missed it ![]()
A couple of bikini shots… no good.
Ads with barely age-legal girls in suggestive pouty poses… tickety-boo, all clear.
I get the mods need to err on the side of caution, and personally, I don’t need either of them to my jollies, but it’s interesting…
Damn machines, just playing with us now…
You know what.
The Gold Coast overall is actually fine.
It’s just Surfers, central.
Correct. Burleigh Heads and anything south is awesome.
just spent a week up there for work. the work trips up there are always well timed for whenever i start to think that maybe melbourne traffic is too fked to tolerate. after a week driving around the gold coast i come back to melbourne and am kind of grateful for what i have at home.
rising sea levels will wipe out burleigh heads altogether well before they finish the light rail there
50c transport from the airport to Broadbeach is farkin rad tho
I’m in Surfers, about two blocks (400m) from Cavill Avenue on the Esplanade. I rarely go into Cavill Avenue, it’s grotty. I only go into Orchid Avenue to go to my gym and to eat at a great restaurant at the northern end of the avenue. Anywhere north of Elkhorn Avenue, south of Hanlon St are fine. I’m on the Esplanade so it’s absolutely ideal and no issues really.
Unfortunately Surfers central (Cavill Ave etc) has a reputation for its problems late at night which don’t impact me. Like anywhere though, Surfers has areas you don’t really want to be around at certain times of the day. Every city has these areas.
Outside of that, the beaches, sunrise / sunsets, lovely walking along the Esplanade and generally terrific weather mean it’s a great place to be.
