Just would like everyone to know that the opening track to this album, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5), has a massive sax wankfest in it. A Baker approved massive sax wankfest.
Must confess… it’s been many years since I’ve listened to this album (The Wall and Animals are normally my Floyd go-to’s). Even Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour have agreed the album has way too much sax wankery on it#
My last listening must’ve been before I started breaking out in hives and my ears started bleeding in response to saxiness…
#may not be true… they don’t agree on anything…
Go away you two…Shine On You Crazy Diamond is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish!
Was a masterpiece. It’s dated poo now.
Like everything else from the 70s??

Some has aged like fine wine. Some is still yet to happen it’s so far ahead of the game.
You are dead to me!!!
Especially seeing this rubbish from you after seeing you talk up the decidedly average Marquee Moon.
In The Aeroplane Over The Marquee Moon would be a great concept mashup.
