Apparently one of the things that shocked Spike when he arrived was the state of the men’s locker room at the Hanger. Said it was disgraceful. Was not happy and called the players in from their break and told them to clean it up. Wants standards lifted from the ground up.

And yet, Dodoro was recruiting players based on their clean bedrooms.

He couldn’t tell their mother’s cleaned up every morning, or he got the “woohoo, I’m at Essendon, I can do anything I want now”, clearance.
