Youâre comparing Fagan; who was an assistant coach as well as GM of footy at Melbourne before becoming the Head of Coaching and Development and GM of footy at Hawthorn; who won 4 premierships under his stewardship; to James Hirdâs AFL coaching career! That is quite some reach youâve got there.

The young core of players and their parents will have to be on board with whoever gets the job. Some might not like the idea of Hirdy returning.
The club has been through this with player parents and they had no issues with Hird and understood his very limited role in the supplements saga. The only exception is the obviously fictitious âSarahâ who rang in on Eddieâs morning radio show. So what about current player parents. They should be comforted by the fact that Hird will surely apply substantially greater workplace care now than his slip ups in the past. Lightning will not strike twice

I donât think we can compare % wins by Horse v Hird. One had a settled team, actually a premiership team handed to him, great culture, excellent assistance from the AFL with Buddy, great Academy picks, the other had none of these. He inherited a â â â â show, and it became a bigger â â â â show. While Hird could have done better, its not as clear cut as % wins.

Iâm surprised Paul Little hasnât put up a $$$ reward relating to finding the real âSarahâ. Imagine if the person is found to be an AFL paid person. The whole house of cards would come tumbling down.

How can you find what doesnât exist? IE how would you even go about trying to find the person who made the call
I said in the other thread thereâs every chance Kelly could bring Bartel and McCartney with him as well if given the gig. I wouldnât mind if he could get Scarlett to come too, our key defenders have gone backwards at a rate of knots under Hurley.
