Its a portal, so a large round life size screen with a live feed into another location on earth. They are building them i think permanently in different locations all over the world.
I think the effect maybe remarkable.

A guy at work was on Hayman or Hamilton Island when Ansett collapsed. They were the only carrier that flew that route. He rang up and said, I’m stuck, I’ll be back when I can. Three weeks later, he turned up. The backstory was that he told the organisers of the relief flights that he was a public servant, he and his family were all together on the island and to prioritise others first… so they did.

MrHeff was stuck in Europe when that volanco incident happened. He was on a junket and I was home with 2 kids under 2.
He attempted to convey annoyance but it was as convincing as me supporting the Pies playing any other team excluding Essendon.

Bit of excitement in our (suburban) backyard this evening.
On arriving home, Mrs B yells to me from the backyard “bring the oven mitts and a box”.
Little Miss B was very excited.
The dog even more so…
Coaxed him into the washing basket, then rang Wildlife Victoria to figure out what we should do with him. My initial thought was to take him to nearby parkland. After a 20 minute hold it turns out the answer is… put the dog inside and let the echidna out where you found him. He’ll potter around and disappear. Hopefully not under a car…

Good Friday
Walked along the beach today and watched a guy ask his GF to get married.
Watched from a couple hundred metres away. He had this belaborate setup, and was using a metal detector in the sand. And then scooped up a little white box with a ring in it.
By the time we got to near them she had said yes and they were kind of just standing around excitedly.
We took some photos for them and went on our way.
They looked so excited!!!

I’m needing some suggestions for watching the best of Essendon for 2024 on Kayo. Not highlights, but matches where we pulled it all together. Massive quarters are fine. About to watch the opening few mins of Anzac, but would love some other suggestions!
