The LuWOW?

Nooo, IIRC it was on the western side of the CBD near Flagstaff. Had a massive outside facade that was set up with mesh and had all vines growing off if, then you go in and there’s an upper bit set up all tiki style. It’s doing my head in. Everyone I went with can’t seem to remember it, but I swear to god the place exists

Don’t need a hand there do you Furious? Think I have a spare corner in my shed if you you extra storage space, although I probably live further away from you than the peninsula.

Wow… now that is a blast from the past… I wonder if they are still the poor cousin of Burger Rings. Mind you, Burger Rings are the poor cousin of Burger Rings these days, so…

In other news, when calling into my local 7-Eleven to get my daughter a Slurpee I saw Sour Blueberry Twisties on the shelf. What in the actual fark???

Chilli Twisties are a thing too. A few years ago in IGA.
YUM!

Yeah, the Chilli Cheese Twisties were great, as are the Curry Twisties (readily available in any good Asian Grocery).
It’s these “sweet” varieties (Cinnamon Donut, Sour Blueberry) of late that have me perplexed… I suspect they’ll die a quick death and turn up on the shelves of your local NQR as a 6 bags for $2 special, along with Choc Mint Maltesers and Coffee flavoured Doritos (yep, this really happened for a microsecond in time)…

Last year they had some I think, Mi Goreng? ATROCIOUS!!

But, 7/11 does have this funky automated milkshake machine which was a nice addition despite my banana shake not having enough flavour.

Yeah, they had Tom Yum flavour too for a while, which was… well… not good…

Found at my local pharmacy
Geelong Confectionery Cough Eze jubes ( a mix of eucalyptus and menthol).

So I can get my finger through to scratch my @alex.f.94 if it gets itchy.

You’ll find out in 6 months

heard a gorgeous story last night. My parentals went to the same high school, and they’ve been to a few reunions.

A couple of years ago, one of the men was asking if anyone had kept in touch with a particular woman. Someone replied that yes, they knew where they were, and put the man in touch with her.

This week, another reunion… and the man and the woman showed up… married!! After having not seen each other for 60 odd years, when they met up, there was a spark, and… yeah!

ain’t love sweet

Five wins!!

people can be awesome! oh, and a shout out to the healthcare system!

yesterday my parentals were heading to the Lume to see the Van Gogh exhibition, when Dad tripped up a step and hit his head. Copious amounts of blood! One lady went inside and got a heap of paper towel, another called an ambulance, a couple went down to the road to direct the ambulance when it arrived, and a third lady stayed with my parentals, helping keep pressure on the cut on Dad’s face.

An hour later, they are at The Alfred. Five hours later, I’m able to pick them up, after Dad has had a CT scan, tetanus shot, five stitches, and numerous monitoring assessments. Amazing service, and all covered under Medicare.

And the lady that stayed with my parentals messaged today to check up on Dad.

Not good news that Dad had a fall, I’m glad he (and the family) got good support. Yeah, we often look for the negative but occasionally the human race can be pretty good.
