An injured, injury prone, average 28 year old midfielder who best case is fit and sits behind Sharp/Tsatas in the VFL and at worst takes their spots.
There is no upside. None, nil, nada.

I still think we should give the spot to Lual. I’m probably the only one but I really think Lual could play a decent game in the AFL. He needs a decent pre-season and some coaching but he has that X factor which a SSP pick is great for.

Is Lual training at another AFL club? If not, I’m not surprised. Just not enough arrows in his quiver. He might be able to put pressure on, but can he find the ball?

Not wishing to go off half cocked, nothing confirmed afaik, but while I think just about every efc fan really appreciated what Will brought and how horribly unlucky he’s been (both with his body and the apparent ineptitude of our medical), if this is really happening I’m full cocked irate. Jesus what a dumb club. Brad’s pass mark more important than competing in finals in 2-4 years.

I don’t mind the Setterfield call. It’s a weak draft year and we’ve just cut over 1000 games of experience off the list. Especially with 3 big bodies mid draftees coming through, it’s probably nice to have him around to hand down some knowledge on the craft.
