I personally agree on the final two guys remaining.
I have been hearing Wanganeen is almost a lock for sometime but i will wait till i hear it from club. He may need another level up on fitness still… which pleasingly will only elevate him more.
Clarke i was confident that he won’t make it. He is in an unfortunate time with our midfield having incredible depth. As mentioned i have also felt like his ball movement just never complimented Trucks system. Clarke though is good enough to be at another AFL club. I believe a VFL option will be made available to him if he wants to go that direction.
I was very high on Fejo Jnr initially… even after watching him in training skill drills. Once we started match sim drills a month ago… it then became apparent quickly how much work was required. Week after week just kept having very little impact. I think shyness or being slightly introverted may have been a factor. He has talent for sure. The intra club was the first time in the last month he had some better moments… it was likely just though a bit too late. Martin and Wanganeen both played really well last week and this week and just looked more ready to go.
I think they are both good enough for spots now. My money is on they both get picked up. I hope so Dodoro:)

Interesting point. I wonder if the AFL will guarantee the original club first bite of the cherry for delisted anti-vaxxers if the requirement to be vaccinated is dropped in the future. I suspect that Covid Vaccinations will be a thing for a few years to come

There is an old saying, two birds in the hand are worth four in the Bush.
Martin and Wanganeen should be picked on current form and long term potential. Why would we risk losing one on the hope that the mid season draft holds greater riches. And anyway, if you were a betting person, the chances are we will have an LTI by mid season in which case a spot will become available for the Mid Season Draft.

They should definitely do one of those except he’s already at the club training, so put them both in the same room. Cut it so it’s not obvious, then zoom out. Make it stupid.

Reckon Tex is a lock. You’re not going to give the son of a gun a whirl then cut him loose, are you? Wouldn’t be good PR, particularly when track observers say he’s got some tricks (evidently far more than Hird jnr and either of the Long jnrs…)
Reckon we’ll give Martin the entire pre-season to stake a claim for spot #2. He hasn’t done too much wrong so far…
