Not necessarily.
Might be both of them, might only be one of them, might be someone else entirely.
We’re not losing anything at all to keep options open until the last minute.

And if one does a knee versus the bulldogs?
LTI and then pick someone else. I think the club likes to do a nice story and annoucement around any signings, I think more about a bit of pre season marketing when talking the timing of anouncemets.
Give him 4, Langford will understand
I don’t think you can PSS replace a rookie unless they retire.
Rats, i thought it was a good plan
If we don’t take Martin I expect West Coast will, they need some young forward talent.
42 is vacant isn’t it? apt for the second coming of the original (and best) number 4
If we don’t have a LTI by mid season, then we are probably travelling better on the injury front than previous seasons, and won’t need a mid season draft pick anyway.
Is it because why not wait we long as well we can. Touch wood, what if one went down with a serious injury tomorrow. Would they still grab them? Probably not.
still annoyed me orazio took 13. should have went to Jake.
Orazio buggered off anyway
I loved him
I was a forward pocket that requested to play back pocket because of Wangas.
Wore the number 4 for my entire career in the back line (only lasted a year before number 5 became my true love )
To be fair, they didn’t have a meeting on selection until the other day. Then there’s the processes of contract drafting, negotiations and offers to navigate. Then, there timing on the ball of the social media and marketing teams. Not completely unrealistic that the clubs settled on the decision but will sit on the announcement for a little.
That said, of course there’s a legitimate chance only one will be selected.
this is probably a good reason to why long shouldnt have got it. he was never much chop
I remember Cooney always referring Orazio as cheeky/smart ■■■■
Good riddance I say
So was Cooney.
we signed both baldwin and johnson coming off knee’s and knowing they would do very little in their first year.
the grouo from all reports loved orazio. he still has plenty of mates at the club…

I recall watching training one day and Orazio was having some goal kicking practice. He kept comming up to me and proposing a bet of $50 that he would kick a goal from the boundary from 50 i never took him up on it as a new he would do it if there was money on it.
I can’t see a world where, if short term top ups are taken due to COVID, a club would have the right to hang on to the player without them having to go back to the draft in the interest of fairness.
And that would be fair enough, too.
