Seems JR didn’t quite see what we were doing there…

See you next week in Tokyo, Kira. Be sure to schedule a week’s recovery upon your return to Bunbury.

The way I am interpreting Decks & Koala’s posts, is that it’s not about which way you vote, feel free to vote however you like. But if you are in here long enough you will have picked up some people’s preferences and might know which way they will go.

I personally reckon there is a noticeable difference between good banter and constant negativity though. Continually saying your music is ■■■■, ■■■■, ■■■■ is tiresome. Maybe just say no & move on sometimes. I don’t want people to stay away cause the music is not going their way or that they feel they will be too harshly treated before they have even started. That’s not the point of the thread.

But we are trying to encourage people to stick around. Yeah you can’t be too sensitive in here, but just because the people that are left have thicker skins doesn’t make it necessarily right.

Some posters put downs are still very high quality though. I love the music (even when I think it’s terrible) and comments that make me laugh. That’s why I am still here.

@barnz is a big La La

A big, salty La La.

What we need is a Top 10 most unjustified knifing list.

I’d feature several times.

I definitely agree, everyone should be apologizing to me for their hurtful behaviour and no voting of my quality songs. In fact anyone that no voted ‘Birthday’ needs to send me a gift basket because that was the final straw.

Me too. But some take it to heart and think twice about waiting all that time in here for another go. Just putting stuff out there to see where general consensus falls.

I got tossed on a 1st spin. It was the best song that’s been played in these threads, it would’ve got tossed whenever I played it. But ■■■■ you all, I play what I want to play!

Are we still voting on Gunners?

Not in the pinball machine soundtrack, so no

There was a reason grunge appeared. It was in response to the prevalence of sh*t hard rock bands at the time. GnR had some good songs, but this wasn’t one of them.

That Birthday vote left me both shocked and appalled in equal measure. A low point of this thread and humanity generally.

yes we are and it’s now 4-5.

The emergence of grunge wasn’t necessarily a good thing. A platform for whiny teenagers should always be suppressed.

Like some GnR work. Not this one though.

Big Fat NO

A crime of epic proportions, I think until I get a written apology then those that voted no should be disbarred from the thread.

That’s right, Chop.

I must admit I love that sense of relief when a song scrapes through or that feeling of indignation when that song you’re convinced that everyone will like gets tossed out 1-10.

Really?
I thought it was in response to the Real McCoy, Sucker DJ, dance-pop trash that was all the radio played at the time.
Although in this country I accept that we’d probably had enough of Farnsy, Barnesy and Diesel, too.

Also no to this song, and I’m really, really, really, really sorry for voting no. I don’t want to upset all those that shat on my songs beforehand and no voted me for the use of technology.
