Selection in the back line is mostly a reflection of our list. Overflowing with medium/tall options, all of whom are easily better than VFL level. If they’re all fit, selection in that part of the ground is going to be a ■■■■ fight all year. Other positions, less so.

Positive I saw on Oddschecker about Tuesday one of the big boys (no advertising here) had them at 3.30. I don’t make this crap up, because betting is bad for your health! Anyway, 1.70 to 2.05 sounds about right - the travel/MCG factor the difference between the two sides.

Francis is unlucky that Ambrose has done some good jobs the last two weeks. Else it would have been him for Hooker instead of Francis.

Players that have played under 100 games, are held to a higher accountability than players who have played over 100 games.

That’s why people are getting frustrated with team selection every week.

Any player under 100 games, who has an average game will be dropped. But if you’ve played over 100 games, you’ll be given every opportunity to find form.
