The Team - GWS v Us - DC out for "The Pidge" (Blame Marvel)

Stewart would have been goalless but for Stringers joe the goose gift. But Laverde is on thin ice.

Who is on airport watch today to keep an eye on the travelling emergencies?

Laverde improved a lot in the last game. He really seemed to get involved and used his body a lot more. Given that he was poor the previous couple of games, that what saved him for the GWS game imo.

The static game plan went out the door with Neeld, thankfully.

giants losing 5 in a row would be pretty remarkable. specially to drop it at home.

I would be very suprised if we didnt see GWS playing with the same intent we did last week against Geelong.

GWS positions after final round
2015 11th 11 wins
2016 4th 16 wins
2017 4th 14 wins 2 draws
2018 injuries left right and centre

Plus they have the best theme song in the AFL

I’d be happy with that, still time for them to win the whole thing in 2018.

They have underachieved by ■■■■■■■ miles given the sheer depth of talent they’ve had available. They aren’t winning anything until they learn to sacrifice for each other.

Fair call, it takes time for trust, systems and culture to be built. Huge game for both teams this week, should at least be a good game to watch.

Why would they take pictures or a bottom 400 player?

Same reason they hand out encouragement awards. Everybody needs a little pep up!

Sam Reid has been withdrawn from the GWS side, replaced by Dylan Buckley.

Shawry is pretty lid off on this game. You’d think he’d learn…

Interesting.

We may be going in too tall in defence now, late change may be on cards.

Mind you if we keep midfield pressure up and keep forcing the high long kicks then we will pick off intercepts more so.

Plenty of small defensive options, no need for a change.

McKenna, Saad, McGrath, Baguley, Dea all capable of playing small.

Buckley more like in there as a defensive forward cause he’s a ■■■■■■■ turnip in offense.
