Last week was worse.
Shiel and Hind and Ham are the only quick players.
No wonder we were statlc and going around in circles.
Most of the brainiacs on Blitz thought that was a smart move a week or two back.
Truck keeps saying the same scripted line about Shiel.
It’s weird. I reckon Shiel is gone at the end of the year.

I’m tired of being outraged. I want to believe. I want to believe that players really will take some risks, be aggressive and take the game on. Please, they don’t have to win - I just want to stop this feeing of embarrassment to call myself an Essendon supporter.

On paper our team beats theirs
Their forwardline though is going to be dangerous, Wingard will monster us aswell as Newcombe ball movement and precision passes down the corridor.

I’m not sure, if we had any legitimate smalls bringing it to ground but it seems like it’s mark and have a shot or don’t and the oppo walk it out. Just needs to clunk them.
