Woosh has an allergy to play kids. He has a chance to play a younger ruckman he chooses the reject ruckman, who was a backup if couple of injuries happened.
Sheedy’s strength was that he never fears playing younger players. This dude can’t even play kids who have consistently performed in the VFL. Drapper needed the chance.
BZT should have played last two weeks as well. Not to mention Laverde instead of Bags. I still can’t believe Ridley got dropped and worse that he is not back in.
Okay, you decide to bring in Carke…Instead of dropping Smack, they drop Brown…only player who leads at the ball.
Need big body in the middle theory gets Myers countless games, however, the bloke can’t spread from the contest at the pace other players do it at, defensively or offensively.
Dude…Langford is a forward. Not an inside mid. Farking hell…play Parish in tge guts. He wins a lot of contested ball through his natural footy smarts.

- In all seriousness, I am backing the Bagman & Myersy to completely negate the influence of one of the best small defenders in the comp. They will add manic forward pressure, run off him & kick multiple goals. The alternative is too scary to contemplate.

Got no idea do you? You think Ridley is a KPD? Patrick Cripps is taller than him, is that mean he is a kpp as well?
Ridley can play that 3rd tall if asked to, but he predominantly plays on small/medium players.
So I would have played BZT, Hurley, and Francis as the 3rd tall. Saad, McKenna and Ridley (instead of Guelfi). Guelfi is lost as a defender. He is a midfielder who is being asked to play like a ‘fix it man’.

If I didn’t know better you’d think the coach was trying to expedite his sacking. On what hypothesis of insanity does he select a team with 4 ruckmen in the squad? There’s no speed coming in on a big MCG ground where you need spread, run and carry.

This team selection reminds me of the team knights selected against Adeliade in the elimination final when we went in with NLM as a ruckman. As bewildering as that selection was it also sealed his fate, hopefully history repeats itself.

Why are people so upset about Langford being dropped? His intensity level has been sub par, other than a couple of junk time goals he hasn’t really done anything significant this season, and he made bone head mistake, twice! Mutch on the other hand gives 100% every week

Worsfold referred to him last week as a “taller defender”, dropping him because of the structure of the team - suggesting St Kilda goes in with a smaller forward line.
He’s also 8cm taller than Guelfi.
Like the governor general. Is there a person at EFC that can overrule selections?
