In terms of mental endurance during the Wimbledon final, maybe the Joker wanted the win too much for his record, whereas Alcaraz had nothing to lose with youth on his side?
Ons Jabeur will be very disappointed in her performance in the final - The womenās edition was set up from the quarter finals with the leading seeds outside of Vondrouska being there for the title - Actually Vvondrouska was the worst result possible - Then again having Radacanu winning the 2021 US Open was poor for the game.
Alcaraz is just a good player with many titles to come in the future.

Believe it or not Tomic has been playing full time on the Challenger and Futureās circuit for next to no dollars. Heās even won one or two tournaments.

To be fair, at the same point in the big 3s careers, they had the following results:

NadalGOAT
NoleGOAT
AlcaGOAT
Maybe not steamrolling his way to Grand Slam victories, but hes achieved more than all the above in a shorter period of time.
Theres other good players out there for sure, but Alcaraz just seems to have something they dont. Its hard to put your finger on it.

The strengths i see in Alcarazās game is speed, forehand power and and attitude(head space).
He also attacks the forehand hard.

Kygrios pulling out of another major open due to injury. This dude pulls out early so often heād never get a woman pregnant.
At the end of the day, Kyrgios has suffered injuries, so you canāt play in those circumstances.

Sport is littered with players never reached their potential due to injury. Whether he was ever good enough to win a Grand slam event, is a good arguement.
That said, at least Nick Kyrgios has won over US$12 million in his career and it is reported that he gets anywhere between US$2 and US$10 million a year in endorsements. Much better than most.
