Emerson Jones. She’s been the world number one ranked junior girls player so the talent is clearly there.
Good bloodlines too - her Mum is Loretta Harrop the Olympian triathlete (won a silver medal in '04) and her Dad was apparently a gun Qld Aussie Rules player.
It’d be nice to have someone develop into a genuinely decent player on the women’s side post Barty. Hope she goes well in the coming years.

Barty could walk back in to the top 10 in women’s draw if she wanted too. Still only 28.

Fwiw, yeah I agree that she could but she seems very content being a Mum and living a comfortable life without the travel.

Fantasia has been poor, but Blues trading out Owies and Keeping Fantasia was a bit perplexing.
Still Fantasia would have rivalled Gresham/Guelfi as our best small forward last year when he was fit 
same with an ageing Rioli 
Would like to see Maddy Inglis, Kim Birrell and Bolt, Hewitt, Tomic get through on mens side.

Gee the Brisbane International men’s final was an embarrassment.
They should have a clause to bring in the next best loser from the semis to play instead.
Felt for the punters at the stadium.
And talk about a cringe speech from the American guy who pulled out.
Tomic will struggle to get thorugh qualifying because he struggles with anyone ranked in the top 200.
