And Anisimova upsets Swiatek in straight sets.
Quite the turnaround from the double bagel loss in the final at Wimbledon.

That was one of the worst matches I’ve seen from both players and in classic Demon fashion chokes wont get another chance at reaching a semi final like this again such a frustrating player to watch.

But she fought back to take the first set 6-4 in 50 minutes.

However, Da Silva keeps playing great shots and takes the second set 6-3.

And after finding her mojo in the third and final set, Birrell triumphs 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
