The Twit show Musk go on

Why is this more likely then someone trying to disrupt the interview?

because (in very simple terms) a ddos attack doesn’t bring down specific parts of a website. it either nukes the lot, or doesn’t

Both could be true, but Musk’s recent behaviour and distant relationship with the truth means his claims are by default not going to be believed. This has nothing to do with Trump, just Musk’s track record of bullshit claims related to Twitter.

Also, probably because the system wasn’t intended to handle anything like those sorts of volumes in the first place, but Musk is juuuust a little bit full of himself and his self-image of The Best Tech Guy, and using a platform from another company (but that was actually designed for this sort of thing) would have been too big a hit to his ego.

There are a lot of reports of IT infrstructure cutbacks, lay-offs and web services payment defaults right from the start of when Musk took over. If you cut back on system capacity, you can’t handle peak loads and stuff starts breaking.

Plus, all Musk dickishness aside, there is a history of large scale online events overloading servers, and the stuff up being blamed on a DDOS.

X in one screenshot.

Seriously, take the money of scammers who are advertising on your platform …… then explain that it’s a scam.

Classic Musk

Has he ever explained what the ‘woke mind virus’ is?

It’s whatever he has tragically caught.

But if outlets like this keep his crazy from damaging something like SpaceX I am for it.

No one has.

Even the Libs of TikTok lady couldn’t define it when asked.

The EU is shaping up to either fine Twitter in the billions of dollars or completely ban use of the software in the EU. This is heavily due to Musk cutting back safety and misinformation controls. Europe is about 1/3 of the user base and one of the highest value advertising markets that Twitter can sell into.

Currently Twitter is a massive liability to the banks as the value has collapsed below the amount of the loan. If the EU does flex their muscles, which it looks like is about to happen, the banks will likely step in and take control of the company.

It’s people thinking men can actually become women.

It’s calling everyone who disagrees with you racist or some kind of phobic.

It’s not being able to win a debate ever.

It’s thinking you can change the weather by people buying electric cars.

It’s bagging Christianity, the foundation of the west, while lionising truly barbaric religions like Islam.

It’s being antisemitic and wanting the end to the Jewish state.

It’s wanting people cancelled who disagree with you, eg Elon Musk.

It’s a dergangment syndrome which is triggered by the words Donald and Trump.

Etc etc

Just a social media and attention addict. With the money to really pursue it.

Not many people are in the position to buy a platform just so more people will read their posts.

That’s a sneaky jibe at Elon.
