Elon is selling the cars not buying them.
But he is not a right winger.
He was always seen as centre left, but now the left have gone off the reservation, he has no choice but to jump over to supporting the Republicans. It’s not a hard choice, the Republicans didn’t make him one of their chief hate targets.
All he did was unban some questionable bans after taking over Twitter and he became the enemy of the left. That says it all.
Any male who is still with the radical leftists, which is supporting the Dems in the US or Labor/Greens here has been overly feminised, or is using the Sneaky ■■■■ tactic to win the affections of women. No reasonable logic brained person could ever support any of that madness.

He sells a range of electric cars, battery storage, and solar technologies because he believes climate change is a problem, and he thinks people buying them are part of the solution.
Which was on your list for the “woke mind virus”, so it is amusing.
He also does it to make money of course, which I don’t begrudge him in the slightest.
Perhaps unintended is the better adjective than sneaky.

It is slang for ‘lost their mind’.
If you need him to believe in climate change as an existential threat, cool.
I don’t care what he thinks about climate change because I do my own research and make my own conclusions.
But a religious like belief in climate change is one of the key components of the woke mind virus. Just because Elon is afflicted by one aspect of it, doesn’t change what it is. If a heroin addict tells you heroin is bad for you, him or her being a heroin addict doesn’t change the fact it is bad for you.
I do like that he is passionate about free speech. I see that as probably the most important of all freedoms, granted in Australia there is only the implied right.

It’s not religion, it’s science. It’s a beleief in what science is telling us. That’s it. And the evidence is everywhere.
It goes a lot deeper that that, but yes, he did let some absolute ■■■■■■■■ back on the platform and has given the green light to a multitude of racist ■■■■■ to say whatever they please.

The hatred. The fear.
I have sympathy, because as abhorrent and stupid as the actual views are, the fact is that they are victims.

Free speech as a concept just about anyone would agree with but there are some vile and indisputably untrue statements that should not be given an opportunity to spread. So for me it’s not a simple issue.
