Crossed the old 100°F mark (37.8°C) just after midday.
Pretty impressive considering the warmest part of the day this time of year is between 2-6pm.
Some suburbs (mostly west) have already flown past 40°C.
41 in Geelong now. Have dinner in Torquay planned where it’s expected to be about 28

44.3 here now and still rising.
Finished at 11:00 though today and it’s a comfortable 22 sitting in front of the TV
Not to rub it in 
but 28 here at Byron with the water temp at a ridiculous 26. Am enjoying the break

We just got back from the ME and it was 22-24 every day

Yep, i set the alarm up super early and get the dog walked and everything else done before the sun comes up. 28 degrees at 4.45 in Sunbury.

I was awake too, I shut the house up (as I had all windows open) But the temp has now fallen again. That was a very weird weather system.

not good
The only positive of this weather is I’ve got a bunch of washing to do. Between the heat and wind, it’s going to take fk all time to dry.
