What they should have done, was have Rollins do something to Becky- which forces Cody to go after Rollins, the way they did it was just awful.
I’m actually thinking it would have been a triple threat between Punk, Rhodes and Rollins. They were clearly building a rivalry between Rhodes and Punk before & during the Rumble.
The Rollins vs Rhodes head to head does fall very flat.
Triple threat Cody,Rock,Roman for the tile and Cody wins
Rock and Roman have thier match at Mania and Cody gets the title he deserves

Perhaps the wrong call was made on the Rumble audible.
You could still have Punk as Royal Rumble winner. Have him get his shot at another time or put his shot up in the chamber.
Cody winning and not choosing Roman just makes him look like a doofus.
Dirtsheets are saying that TKO put it in as a clause of contract when the Rock joined the Board.
There is also the Angle, that Punk was suppose to win the Rumble…… but they had to switch mid match, after Punk got injured.
I think that would be a great main event, no idea what you would do for night 1 though

Dwayne has been coping a lot of backlash since Black Adam flopped unless you are wrestling fan you will love him but outside of wrestling he’s isn’t as admired as he once was imo
He’s doing this for him self and nothing more.
Every movie star has bad movies.Even the very best. black Adam has nothing to do with wrestling.
That doesn’t mean that people won’t be tuning/signing up for subscriptions to see The Rock back in the ring.
I have mates that watched the Attitude era, and have had no interest in Wrestling since…… asking about The Rock coming back. They don’t care about storylines. They think wrestlers these days are sh*t and WWE needs The Rock back to stick it up all the Gen Z wrestlers and fans.
I’m a rock fan have been since the Attitude Era but I don’t think they needed him this Wrestlemania.
The show is sold out,people will still tune and wwe will make a tone of money regardless.

The fact is, actors have schedules that are years long. This might be the only time in the Rock’s career that he can do it…… and considering that it’s against his cousin. It fits perfectly imo.

I’ve more recently come back to wrestling. You can’t keep building someone back up, only to keep losing in the big match, people eventually won’t care.
Rhodes should have beaten Reigns last year. If they want him to break records, then Cody should’ve been taken in a completely different direction until it was time to lose.
I don’t get the hate of the specific title. They created a new belt to have one for each regular show amongst other reasons (not that it means much but the new ones look better than the crappy WWE ones which is enough the for me) it matters more who you beat and then the challenges. Most people couldn’t care, they just want to slap a title on the waist of someone they love cheering for.
It’s frustrating for me that you know the Rock won’t win. He should be beating Reigns then, losing it back to him. That would keep them even and the Rock has the star power to do that first up. Cody could then challenge and win later on.
