They could have atleast had some hostility between Rollins and Rhodes for the last few months.
This is the reason why people are ■■■■■■. There is zero hostility between Rollins and Rhodes.
But you know what they say: the fourth match is always the sealer, especially after you swept the first three with half your chest hanging off.

If people want Rhodes and reigns in the main event that’s fine , what do they think should be the main event night 1. There is no big match with big stars who can pull it off

A main event of wrestlemania with drew,Rollins, Gunther is not a big deal in the least. If you paid thousands of dollars to go to wrestlemania and THAT was the main event, you would feel pretty ripped off
Wrestlemania is supposed to have the biggest moments and biggest matches
Cody/Rollins with Cody winning gives you a big moment night 1
Rock/Roman gives you a monster match and big moment night 2

What if Cody dosent want the WHC belt espically after Roman trashed it by saying “its the loser bracket belt”

People are not arguing about Rock as a draw, and we all wanted to see Rock/Roman (last year was the perfect time) but the execution and outcome of doing it this way is embarassingly pathetic - there were more intersting ways to get to the outcome besides cutting Rhodes ballz off a week after the rumble and with like one sentence from the Rock so far, like he hasn’t provided one hint on why farking now besides his failing movie career needing a bump

Yeah it was odd that Rhodes wins the Rumble and points at Reigns.
Perhaps he went off script with that.
But besides that, Rhodes hasn’t even spoken to Roman Reigns in 10 months.
People have been hyping up a fued that isn’t there.
The main reason why, is because people are still ■■■■■■ off that Rhodes didn’t beat Reigns last year. It should have happened, and it didn’t.
There is no doubt that they want to keep Roman Reigns as champion past Hogan’ record (and potentially Backlund).
That is not The Rock’s fault. WWE won’t bury Rhodes with another defeat to Reigns at Mainia

That makes sense, how could they have made this big a mess of it is pretty astounding, though likely driven by the fact R&R will never actually be there to participate in a regular storyline anyway
Tanahashi becomes NJPW president, and instantly wins the World TV championship (from someone at their actual peak).
Rock becomes board member, and instantly is inserted into the Wrestlemania main event.

This. If reigns and Cody had fueded since WM or at least had a few interactions throughout the year I could completely understand the uproar. But there has been nothing between them.
I’m more than happy to smash the wwe for their lousy booking or rubbish storyline’s, but they are making the best of a horrible situation
Lesnar and Punk both can’t wrestle night 1, so Cody has to be moved there to make it an attraction.
Rock is the biggest name they could possibly get to make people take notice. Austin isn’t going to do a proper match, there is nobody else that can come in and make an impact like The Rock

How is overtly cucking Rhodes and Rollins making the best of a horrible situation?
Is the argument that they were all-in on Punk, called an audible during the Rumble (but failed to also tell Rhodes to only point at The Sign), and had zero faith in Rock’s ability to keep himself the face vs Roman?
