Wrestlemania spoilers:
The Jey Uso / Gunther match was such a let down. Can’t have the Ring General tap out that easily. Overall decent night 1, Jacob Fatu is so damn good. Hoping night 2 is better.
Flair looked like she was sandbagging half of the stuff Tiffy was doing.

That was… not good.
Though large parts of that not good were obvious beforehand, bonus things like making Gunter insta-tap out were just a special kind of awful.
Botchamania can take the week off by just posting Stratton/Flair in its entirety. Zero chemistry and worst jumper clash ever. It made Cargill/freaking Naomi look like a technical masterpiece.
The purchase of AAA is a much bigger story than anything else today, but very little detail was provided.
I don’t know how disastrous AAA’s financial status was (it was bad). Is this just a light-touch investment by WWE? Will WWE’s AAA want to keep their problematic main champ Alberto? Will AAA finally fire the just-now-released-from-jail-for-assaulting/attempting-to-kill-Vaquer El Cuatrero? Is it possible to even vaguely reconcile the two companies’ styles (AAA is often whacky ■■■■, not just the different-but-fairly-trad lucha libre of CMLL)? Does anyone know any of their current wrestlers apart from Vikingo?
The last question is a bit unfair as AEW has demonstrated that, if properly done, you can introduce a bunch of Mexicans (in that case, mostly from CMLL in recent times) and quickly establish them individually as legit. But it seems unlikely this is a talent grab, unless everything is being shut down and the owners escape with their debt paid.

The Gable vs Fenix match was probably the best.
Probably a blessing that Rey Mysterio got injured on Smack Down, so we could get this Match. It was excellent.
Also as predicted Fatu vs LA Knight was fire. 2 of the best performers on the roster.

So the Jay ascendance was meh, Tiff Charlotte sadly meh… could have made more of the ending… LA Jacob did well with limited time, pointless tag, Jade and Namomi whatevs, great main event though… oh yes and of course multiple self honouring moments for H and Shaun can’t leave them out oh no we must always be self honouring the kliq

Gunther is a phenomenal old fashioned wrestler. I thought the first match was excellent.
He forced Jey Uso to slow the f*ck down. It was at a really good pace, and every bump was emphasised.

My quip would be it was the same move sequences we see on any weekly Raw, same for the tag match, hard for even Gunther to extract a true WM singles match from Jay
