The very first ”bump” Cena “took” should have told you the match would be notably mediocre. His STFU still sucks (so much air).
Very uninteresting cheating/over-booking to make up for that.

Underwhelming mania with a couple of bright spots like Joe Hendry appearing and Fatu getting his first belt.
A lot of boring matches and wrong winners.
Everyone knew the main event would be bad in ring, but then no Rock and inexplicably solo Travis Scott instead made it bad entertainment too.

Considering Bayley wasn’t actually injured and just written off to have herself replaced is awful.

Bayley is a good technical wrestler. But everything else is pretty mediocre.
She doesn’t really have a character, and is fairly average on the mic.
Tbh, the same can be said about Iyo Sky.
contrary to other posts here i thought that main event was great
the plain entrance graphics, the slow motion five moves of doom, bit of shthousery to end. loved it

The story is dumb though.
Cena is getting old and can’t win number 17 by his own merit, so he sells his soul to the Rock. Rock will help Cena get number 17, in exchange Cena is the Rock’s corporate champion/stooge which CAWdy turned down.
Sure. So what does the Rock do to implement his plan? What help does the Rock offer Cena to win number 17? What assistance has Cena bought himself for the price of his soul?

That’s it. The Rock sent a 70kg rapper who has never wrestled to the main event of wrestlemania to ensure his plan succeeded. Just lol.
The story sucks without Rock interfering himself.
I pay attention to wrestling less and less after the netflix deal, so maybe I missed something in the lead up. Either way I’ve written too many words on this dumb sh*t.
This is only the beginning
I imagine Cena keeps sinking lower and lower during his title reign as he falls into the Final Boss’s evil world of Hollywood depravity but finally sees the light and breaks free of the Rock’s spell and drops the title and retires just as he’s faced with an ultimatum whereby he can only gain enough strength to win his final match by harvesting the adrenochrome of one of the make a wish kids.

To be fair, da Rock did nothing at Elimination Chamber either. He KNEW Cena would win on his own merits versus five key current talents. So obviously he didn’t have to do anything at Wrestlemania when it was just one-on-one… apart from cutting the brakes on Austin’s crashmobile.
The Rock has contingency plans.
It doesn’t matter who won the chamber. His soul harvesting powers are strong enough to make anyone turn on Cody and join forces with him.
Wonder what will happen with Roman and Punk now.
