Today’s Collision included a lot of tributes to him. I wouldn’t mind fellow big boi Mark Davis keeping the “knee-walking” (on Dynamite he rocked it).

Bloody hell this came out of nowhere. Been an awful few months for wrestlers passing too soon.
Was a bloody good match too (vs Andrade).
Guy was a legit freak, and totally believable (and going by the reactions, his Bastardry was 100% a work so double credit there).

Coroner says PAC died of a (presumably acute) bronchial asthma attack.
That’s awful. As someone who has asthma, having an attack can be scary at times when it doesn’t settle down or you get relief

Moxley half-Muta-ed (hard-way?) – been a while. They had an extended post-match just to clean up the ring before the main event.
Ilja Dragunov unsurprisingly introduced, with boss music having been licensed (they should skip the first 25 seconds of setup in the below).
You gotta think he will be more appreciated in AEW than in WWE.

Main event (“Clockwork Carnage”) was a bit bonkers. Ospreay and Konosuke drew the un-wanted entries 1 and 2. When they got to the second part of the match it was pin-spamming. They did an OK-ish job of presenting the pins as not interruptible by someone else (via a lot of people having extended rests outside the ring), but yeah, I dunno that this format works. It was certainly tense in the closing minutes, but it is a capriciously random way to decide a title.
Tome Filip on Dynamite today. They keep bringing him back; maybe one day he’ll be allowed to win.

Hmmmmm… Buddy Matthews pulled from this coming weekend’s MegaMania at the Pavilion in Flemington due to “scheduling conflicts”… but where does he now slot in at AEW? They haven’t gone for a pure United Empire team for the Blood & Guts match two days after the MegaMania tour ends.

things i saw in no particular order
- new day still doing their schtick to near silence
- tomasso ciampa facing off with ilja dragonov again
- jungle boy biting a guy in the dong
- jungle boy getting drop head first onto the middle rope
- jay white gently placing claudio castignoli face down onto concrete, appearing to hurt himself in the process
- some guy tombstoned darby allin from the apron through chairs, got a 2 count, and went on to lose the match
was this just a bad episode, or is aew actually 2000s tna in disguise?
