Apparently they’ll tell everyone in two days where it’s being relocated to (apparently still in Saudi Arabia, maybe in a less-at-war area).

Brian Cage is on his final WSW trip to Australia (he is THE wrestler you think of for WSW, having been there at the start a decade ago). Relinquishes the Aus Champ belt to a triple threat match later tonight — but will be in the main event competing to regain the WSW World Championship.

Cassie Lee vs Shauna Bayzler vs (fka) Zoe Stark vs (c) Myla Grace (yeah, I dunno either).
They forgot something at the start of the match, prompting a RING THE BELL chant.
Even as mostly a comedy match, they won the crowd over. The TNA Tag Champs are slightly upset with each other at the end.

Ryusei vs Mitch Waterman: upon the introduction of Mitch, I suddenly like anonymous Japan Dojo person a lot more!
At the end some yobbo loudly demanded the jobber loser get the hell out of the ring

Good Brothers (c) vs Bushi and Naito for tag titles. The five minutes before the match started were masterful work with crowd working off BALD and HAIR and Festus chants.
The match, however, was -1 stars. Naito is even more cooked than whenever you last saw him — stumbles into his first rope rebound.
Naito botchamania-style “talks too much”. Botches two more moves on the ropes. He also doesn’t sell. Retire, FFS.
Gallows sold repeat nut shots very well, including post-match.

Triple threat for Aus Championship:
modest boos for Sami Gueverra on his entry. Almost no reaction for Ricky Sosa. But MOOSE MOOSE MOOSE!
Once Sami did a nice sequence everyone loved him again, though.
Decent but relatively short match.

There was a stupid grin on my face the whole match as they beat the ■■■■ out of each other.

Cage vs Killer Kross (meh) in the main event.
The ending is cop-out bullshit and they don’t recover it for the crowd by saying it’ll be a repeat match (plus Andrade, plus Riddle) in Sydney tomorrow…

Crowd was a little bit smaller than MCW shows that have been here (but with a few more seats, and much more exorbitant ticket prices).
WSW will be back here in June 2027.
WTF. Two weeks after being squashed by Swerve Strickland he appears as security politely restraining Swerve and New Level. He got a huge amount of close-up coverage of his face at the end of the scene (other security had already disappeared off-screen).
Not sure how I am meant to interpret (in kayfabe) this re-appearance. You know Tony Khan would care about this kind of detail.
