They appear to have booked Lesnar the re-signing alright — the only thing that creates interest/doubt in the main event result!

I actually think there will be (has been) a last minute swerve in plans and that Lesnar will retain, and perhaps even till Summerslam where Bryan might get another crack.

Predictions:

Lesnar v Reigns
Sting v HHH
Rusev v Cena
Rollins v Orton
Taker v Wyatt
Ambrose to win the ladder match

Not sure if its because I havent really seen many shows in the lead up to Wrestlemania 31 but it appears to me to have been a fairly weak build up and looking through the match list there isn't any matches I'd pay to see.

In the two short weeks I’ve been watching, my favourite guys are stuck in the Intercontinental Title ladder match and won’t have time to shine as they usually are either spotfests or a clusterf#*k.

I’m liking the Rusev character but the build up on the final RAW didnt excite me.

Tough to build up a match when one of the participants doesnt appear on TV or even speak prior to the match (hello Undertaker).

I’ll be interested in the results but won’t be paying to watch it.

Wyatt is doing one hell of a job carrying the promos for that, given that he’s getting nothing to work with in return. I will be interested to see how he works with Taker.

I have zero interest in Sting vs HHH. Happy to see Sting at Mania, but it’s only about 20 years too late.

Orton never has a bad match, but doesn’t have many great ones. Zero interest.

No interest in the cold war match up, but if they’re serious about making Rusev a monster heel, he needs the win.

I’m still tipping interference in the title match. There have been too many references to Reigns’ family (Rikishi, The Usos) for there not to be some sort of interference. Then of course, there was the video of The Rock talking about wanting to work Brock. Vince would definitely be thinking about trying to get Rock v Brock at Mania next year. Year long build = Money.

Ladder match - could be anyone, and anyone would be ok with me. That said, I think Ziggler.

Apparently Lesnar has signed a multi year WWE deal and wont be returning to MMA. Good idea IMO…not sure his return to the UFC would be all that successful considering that major injury.he had years ago plus the fact he hasn’t fought in 3 years

I watched a few of the old PPV's from mid 2000's. My goodness was there some garbage matches and storylines. Who the hell thought Jeff Jarret was a main event talent?
On a another forum I post on, someone did a statistical analysis of TV ratings during the attitude era (98-01) and found that ratings spiked whenever Jarrett was an Intercontinental or Tag Team team champion.

Wut.

They were making a very elaborate and unnecessary point about correlation,vs causation, but the numbers were absolutely spot on.

I suspect the thread is long lost to the ravages of time, but I’ll see if I can track it down

Not for my benefit, please.

I can’t speak for the children who probably made up a sizable amount of viewers, but jeeeeeeeeeezus…
That was the era that I friggin’ loved wrestling, and I loved just about the entire cast of two rosters apart from that pissweak guitar-smashing jerk.
I could seriously name twenty wrestlers from that time that ■■■■■■ me off less.

Now it seems like 90% of WWE is Jeff Jarrett.

Predictions

Mizdow to win andre the giant battle royal
Ambrose to win IC ladder match(hasnt won a ppv match since breaking up with shield)
Cesaro kidd to hold tag team titles
Paijay to win divas tag team match
Orton to beat rollins
Sting to beat HHH, Undertaker to beat Wyatt which would set up a undertaker sting match in 12 months time
Reigns Lesnar no contest as authority will beat them up both so rollins can cash in on lesnar. Then vinnie mac will come out and say wrestlemania cant finish like this and restart match as a triple threat match which reigns will win.

My picks for winners

Cesaro and kidd
Sheamus
Ambrose
Bellas
Rollins
Sting
Undertaker
Reigns(rollins to cash in and beat him)

I commend you lot who stuck with wrestling.

I kinda wish I had of.

Instead, after following obsessively for about 6 years in my youth, I zoned out and lost track.

If there is ever a late 80’s to early 90’s reminiscing thing going on, I’ll be happy to join in.

LOL

Stand by Hird sign at Mania.

That is the greatest thing ever

Sting v HHH match was great. Sting still has it. Took us back to the Monday night wars.

If there was ever a better example of vince having lost the plot its the winner oF the previous match. Pathetic

Dat curbstomp-into-RKO. Boy oh boy.
