This is pretty awesome.
Haven’t watched the above, but Stewart can cut a decent promo
Strange fact, that Stewart, despite being highly intelligent (much like the people in this thread!) is a major wrestling fan. Sometimes attends live events when they are on the East Coast. Even discussed WM results last year on his show (much to the bemusement of his audience)
Ok so Cena is back. Not sure if urine-extracting, or markiest mark that ever marked.I wish this could happen:
Cena, Rock And Orton v Bullet Club with Triple H special guest referee.
Who are you proposing to lose this match, and why do you want HHH to bury all six of them by being the centre of the story?
Bullet Club to lose…then the other 3 turning on Trips.
■■■. This is awesome.
Reigns is OK action-wise, pretty bad on the mic. He only debuted in 2010, and has never wrestled outside of WWE, so you’d cut him some slack if he wasn’t about to punk out the baddest man on the planet and become the #1 guy for many many years.
So I’ve just got Foxtel back and have watched the last 2 episodes of RAW having not followed the WWE for a while so have a couple of quick questions and comments.
Can Reigns wrestle? Last 2 weeks haven’t really seen that much, a bit of a non event against Rollins 2 weeks ago followed by the Orton beatdown of Rollins so I really haven’t seen that much of him.
From what I have seen Reigns doesn’t really seem that popular with the crowds, Daniel Bryan on the other hand…
What about Wyatt, can he wrestle? How will he go against Taker, can he carry a beat up 50 yo once a year wrestler or is this going to be a disaster?
I can’t believe they are still trying to use the old USA Vs Russia storyline, it almost seems like even the crowd are saying, really this again? or it may just be they are sick of seeing Cena, or maybe its Cena saying I can’t believe I’m in this storyline…
I’m trying to keep my involvement light this time around as I previously visited too may wrestling web sites to get the ‘inside word’ and it sort of spoiled the whole thing for me so I will endeavour to remain oblivious to the inner workings.

Damn, just looked at the credits for the above, that’s one hell of a cast and I missed half of them.
Oh yeah, and:

That was pretty damn good

Reigns can go a bit, but he’s been so forcibly pushed that the crowd isn’t taking to him naturally. Lex Luger all over again.
Wyatt can go. It should be alright.
Yeah it’s the old USA v Russia story, but Rusev is top shelf so he’s making it work. It’s going a lot better than it sounded on paper.
I’ve been watching PPVs from the eighties and holy crap Luger is soooooo over. Similar scenario to Reigns: jacked, only a few years experience and getting a shot at the top spot, but so-so talker. Sting similar.
I’ll update as I progress through the years on how WWF (apparently) screw it all up… Bring on the Lex Luger Express.
The more they mention Reigns’ family, the more I’m smelling what they’re cooking…
Think people are pretty harsh on Reigns…problem is everyone wants Byran in the main event so regardless Reigns is gonna cop some heat. Personally I think his mic skills have improved but could use a guy like Heyman in his corner. Let’s not forget people wanted him.to win the Rumble last year…or maybe that had something to do with Batista
In regards to the WWE network…worth the money IMO considering it is the cost of buying 3 PPVS from Foxtel…I havent even watched any of the old PPVS yet as If I start God help my productivity
I watched a few of the old PPV’s from mid 2000’s. My goodness was there some garbage matches and storylines. Who the hell thought Jeff Jarret was a main event talent?
80s PPVs were obsessed with match endings where you had to wait for the announcement to know who won. Multiple such cases every single show.
If ya smell…

I’m calling a Reigns win off the back of Rock interference.
I`m not into wrestling ,but thought you might like to read this sad news in the wrestling world.
THE son of a Mexican wrestling legend died early Saturday from a blow suffered in the ring, the Baja California state prosecutor’s office said.
Pedro Aguayo Ramirez, known as Hijo del Perro Aguayo, fell unconscious on the ropes, apparently after receiving a flying kick from former WWE star Oscar Gutierrez, known as Rey Mysterio.
The match continued for almost two minutes before other participants and the referee realised Aguayo was seriously injured and tended to him.
A shocking video of the incident has been uploaded on YouTube.
He was taken to a hospital a block away and died about 1:30am, according to prosecutor’s spokesman Raul Gutierrez.
The state prosecutor’s office said it has opened an investigation into possible manslaughter.
“I have no words for this terrible news,” Joaquin Roldan, director of the AAA wrestling federation, said through his Twitter account.
“My sincerest condolences for the Aguayo Ramirez family.”
Mexico is famous for its colourful characters and costumes in professional wrestling, popularly known as lucha libre, where fighters perform daring aerial manoeuvres inside and outside the ring.
Aguayo, 35, had wrestled for 20 years and was the son of the legendary Pedro “Perro” Aguayo, now retired and a member of the Aztec lucha hall of fame.
The younger Aguayo was also popular and led a group called “Los Perros de Mal,” or the bad dogs.
He won numerous titles, including national pairs with his father, a national heavyweight championship and the Consejo Mundial Lucha Libre world trios championship.
“It makes me very sad because he was a professional colleague and I have great affection for his father,” the wrestler Hijo del Santo said in a telephone interview.
“I think the fans in Japan, the US and Mexico of course, where he was very popular, must be in mourning, especially because of his youth. He had much ahead of him.”
Not sure if its because I havent really seen many shows in the lead up to Wrestlemania 31 but it appears to me to have been a fairly weak build up and looking through the match list there isn’t any matches I’d pay to see.
In the two short weeks I’ve been watching, my favourite guys are stuck in the Intercontinental Title ladder match and won’t have time to shine as they usually are either spotfests or a clusterf#*k.
I’m liking the Rusev character but the build up on the final RAW didnt excite me.
Tough to build up a match when one of the participants doesnt appear on TV or even speak prior to the match (hello Undertaker).
I’ll be interested in the results but won’t be paying to watch it.
If you want to see how to not book the final segment between the 2 guys in the Main Event of WM just watch the final segment on raw. What the hell was that? Who honestly thought that was a good idea?
