Things you've done because of the Supplements Scandal

I canceled Foxtel Sports!
Stopped responding to messages about Essendon from supporters of rival clubs. Told a few to get farked!
Ony talk footy with Essendon supporters cause we feel the hurt and understand each other.

same here. Worst part is people who don't know footy, ask what's going on (as they know I'm a Essendon supporter), so you have to explain the whole story. They don't really understand or have made up their mind about the whole situation prior.

Though I take a lot of comfort in the fact that we are still miles ahead of Carlton and Pies in terms of a flag chance.

It has been a weird year. On field it's been our best season for years. Off field it's been the worst of all time.

footy broke me this year. didn't watch last night, haven't watched for weeks now. the game just angers me in general now. hopefully that subsides by the time next year rolls around.

was thinking of emailing everyone of the afl sponsors to say i am never buying their products again. INTERNET ACTIVISM !!111!!11

*   Don't buy, or view the age online anymore (I have never really bought the HS - but now don't check out footy stuff online)

*   Only listen to SEN occasionally in the morning when Tim is on - turn off when that little jerk k bartlett comes on).

*   Don't watch much non Essendon footy now - just check the scores every now and then.

*   Still buy our memberships (even though we are rarely able to use them).

*   Read more books and watch more movies.

*   Have joined twitter as a way of keeping up with footy developments and politics. I know a lot of people reckon twitter is moronic but I love it - you can just block the ones you don't like. There are some good people out there tweeting - auskadi, Tracy Holmes to name a couple who have provided some very interesting links - helped keep me sane during the last 8 months. Also, you can get access to political discussions that you NEVER get in the hs and haven't in the age for many, many years.

I've run out of battery at work quicker then previous years...Never really paid for papers/listened to radio but my objective for next year is to turn a large amount of essendon supporters into members. Would be an ultimate ■■■■ you to everyone after the year we have had...

I went to the doctors today due to picking up a dose of the flu.

He remembered me from a number of previous visits throughout the year (I was lucky enough to get Ross River Virus late last year and it lingers on) and was perturbed that I was there yet again.

Apart from checking my vitals etc, he asked a few questions and somehow we got onto the topic of me being an Essendon supporter. We spoke a fair bit about the **** that has been hapening all year for the EFC and he seriously suggested that part of my problem could have been caused by the stress of following the affair do closely.

So there you have it...following EFC during this season can be considered bad for your health.

Hope you feel better from the flu soon.

Ross River Virus, usually hangs around for 2 to 2 1/2 years. When I lived in Mildura lots of people had Ross River and it took that long to get out of their system,  (sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it will pass).

I have not done anything different (have not read 'those' papers for quite a long time), don't have Fox and don't watch any of the footy shows.

Outta this shitful year, I found BB so something great happened for me.

Agree completely. My health has suffered on many levels. Not at all joking.

This is a great idea,

Start a little movement to get as many people as possible to try and get at least one new member to sign up, or get a few blokes who don't normally go to games to get down for 2014 and beyond. From little things, big things grow as they say...

Got ■■■■■■■ angry at Essendon/hird,missed four games since 1973 and I’m still ■■■■■■ off with them.

first priority, ensure membership was renewed, second priority anything related AFL to be wiped from life in general, cant wait for AFL360 next season be good to hear robbo sticking it up everyone when were on top where we belong

I've had many more colds this year than previous. Sleeping patterns were stuffed during the thick of it.

Caused industrial action.

Run naked down the street saying I love you Hirdy I love you!

Ohhh whoops wrong thread
