Things you've done because of the Supplements Scandal

I haven't watched a minute of football since the last Essendon match, or of any non-Essendon matches for several weeks before that. I have no interest in this finals series and will be declining to attend any grand final day activities that my friends organise.

Just write yourself off. That way you won't see the game anyway.

Think I'll be going to watch more VFL games next year too.

I have enrolled to undertake a law degree.

When complete ,i will take all concerned that have allowed (manufactured ) or failed to avoid through inaction or adverse action for personal or other undisclosed gain in this debacle , to the relevent courts to obtain justice for every essendon member who was sold a membership that failed to meet the requirement of a product or service that is offered for sale or hire. under state or federal legislation that a product / service   "must meet the minimum standards of its inherant and/or advertised benefits" & "meet the resonable expectations of the consumer as advertised

Saving $13 per week on Fairfax publications. Do not read at all irrespective of journalist. Have switched off from radio that is syndicated through MMM or 3AW, and, tbh once Essington is done for the year, so am I. Watching a lot of NRL and have interest in EPL so there is still enough sport for me to enjoy. The biggest change I have made is listening to music that I haven't played for years. It is excellent and is even a soothing quality that was sadly missing in this years footy.

Learning about the Mongols, the last days of the Roman Republic, the Anabaptists in Munster post-Luther and the Spanish-American War on podcasts.

And soon I'll be getting hold of audio-books and finally "reading" a few classics.

Started listening to Death Metal again.

Looked into a local source of Hexarelin.

Started listening to Death Metal again.

And that answers the question about whether your location was original Zimmer or classic Melbourne grindcore. Left a few gigs over the years with Tonys fake blood all over me. Good times.

What podcasts do you subscribe to?

I think Peter Adamson's History of Philosophy series is great. Melvyn Bragg's In Our Time can be of variable quality, but by and large much better than anything produced locally, and have covered many of the topics you mention.

I'm pretty sure he means Dan Carlins Hardcore History podcast.
It's pure awesomeness

The double bills with Christbait were the best. Legendary.

Stopped reading The Age and HS online.

Gone to more local footy.

had a competition to see who could tell me exactly what we'd done to get the penalties we received.

nobody's wining yet.

For a while there I was staying up til the one who shall not be named released an article just to get the “latest” from the afl smear campaign, then get up the next day to the see the fallou on blitz.

Despite the fact we were the team getting dragged through the mid in was strangely addictive, and not in a good way. Then one day I just switched off from all the hoopla and the world just seemed so much better without any interest in opinions or rumours.

Can’t wait for the next season to start, but I thinknill start following local footy a bit more now.

Started listening to Death Metal again.

that's so weird.

I pulled out anthrax and slayer and have just realised why.

Sang DA DA DA F*** OFF to a bunch of Carlton fans after we beat them the second time this year.

But apart from that, I've spent a lot more time talking to my Biochemistry lecturers actually trying to understand how all these things work and how valid the claims are (did a research project with a pharmacologist so also spoke to them about it all too) and they seem to be of the opinion a lot of the 'performance enhancing' elements are fairly unproven.

kids are a good reminder.

(hopefully not in relation to the last part.)

I canceled Foxtel Sports!

Stopped responding to messages about Essendon from supporters of rival clubs. Told a few to get farked!

Ony talk footy with Essendon supporters cause we feel the hurt and understand each other.
