He’s been played as a defensive forward and doing defensive roles so of course his numbers are going to drop. He’s barely had too much outright midfield minutes with that stacked Port midfield, if given the chance I’d have him in our midfield in a minute and he’s be getting around his usual 30 touches. Different teams, different roles, different needs.

I believe his ‘minor knee strain’ on the eve of the season was in fact a decent hammy.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is influencing the position/midfield minutes he is playing.
I’ll look his way in Supercoach after their bye in Round 10 when his price is -$150,000 and he starts getting on his bike a bit more.
He’s always been smallish, slowish and not much chop outside the contest.
Should still be a force this year, if he gets back to fitness. Probably next year. But that’s it, IMO.
