It wasn’t the individuals so much as the game style. They weren’t playing a style of footy that’s set up to score heavily. We saw last year how potent our forward line can be when we give it a chance.

The forward line was given a chance. Our I50 rate per game was higher in 2018 than it was in 2017.

It’s totally fine to say I don’t think Wingard or Parker are not the type of player we should be looking at, but my goodness, there are a lot of crazy comments about players here. Wingard is a very talented player who has been great for Port over the past 5+ seasons. Parker is an elite mid and any comparison to Wallis is laughable. If you dont want a certain player, by all means, but to pretend that these prominent prospects are not instant top 10 players on our list is crazy!

The comparisons to Wallis were usually in the context of cost though. Wallis being free, Parker probably costing a lot.

Hanneberry is leaving becuase of the $$$$ Syndey are almost pushing him out the door offering poor contract, similar to Mitchell…but also they are sick of his partying i think.
Although Crawford said Hanners does extra recovery sessions.

Hanneberry is contracted, so there are no contract negotiations.

Hannebery has 3 years to go in contract. He’s not asking for more money he allready has it.

I thought it was when we got rid of Neale, the midfield started getting on top, significantly increased pressure was applied over the ground and maybe dropping Daniher.
