Its the same for any player coming out of contract. it will be a constant nuisance, but its worth it. If Joe stays fit, it will pay massive dividends.

If we get 5, GWS may want to trade 6 and Bonar for 5, knowing there’s a big chance we bid on Green. That way they get a free hit at 5 and only use points on Green.

Depends if we have our heart set on someone at 5 that we are worried GWS might take if they get first crack.
Problem with that is there might be a kid we really like that they take the pick before us. We’d only do that if we liked a kid likely to slide.
Might be Luke Jackson. apparently is the only notable ruckman in the draft. Hope we keep Joe though
I’d offer saints 33 for Jack Stevens. Let’s be realistic, Dodoro will probably use on a speculative pick anyhow!

A fit Raz, Joe and Dev Smith is more valuable than most other deals we could get during trade period.

There might not really be any available for us to trade in of the quality that we need. I would take SPP however not many on here would so then you have division on whether his inclusion is going to improve the list or not. Same with pretty much anyone we have discussed, the high quality that improves the list isn’t readily available trade wise this year. Lots of depth/fringe players available though. Do they actually improve on what we already have?
