If Shiel was going to hawthorn GWS would have taken pick 15 and that would be that but since it’s Essendon the AFL are going to make us pay out the ■■■.

Disco stated in his interview that he is mindful of player payments. From that, I think Shiel is enough as $cully is greedy may get close to our cap limits.

Agree with Bishop. We couldn’t afford to get both, and I think Essendon are confident in their young talent to just get the one big fish this recruiting period.
Call me paranoid, but is it possible that Hawks are taking Scully off GWS, sothe Giants have enough to keep Shiel and keep him away from Essendon? Conspiracy?
