Barass is a great mark, but not a great defender. He concedes a lot of goals.

42 goals and a sh*t tonne of assists, is AA conversation on face value. He’s the least of our issues.
If we had a balanced forward line with players who actually crumb and apply pressure next to Jake, he’d be the jewel in our crown…
Instead we are running with forward lines of Wright, Stringer, Jones, Langford, Caddy and wonder why the ball comes flying out of 50 and we can’t defend transition.

It’s all well and good to say it’s unbalanced, but how are you going to balance it then?
Caddy is untouchable.
I know I’d rather hang onto Langers.
Jones fits the age demographic better, so likely keep him.
Wright can back up ruck, thats kind of handy, but we really need to loose two out these guys, so he can go.
Then there’s Jake. Cant see him playing VFL until Langers or Caddy get injured. So, cya buddy

If we don’t play Bryan next year fair chance he’ll leave; would it need to be Draper / Bryan swapping in the ruck with Draper resting forward?
