The most Essendon thing to do would be to trade for a bloke nicknamed Flyin’ Ryan because of his overhead ability, then proceed to only kick at his shoelaces for the next five years.

Ryan would add some much needed pace to forwardline and he was a bombers supporter.
Probably end up at Port Adelaide though like Rioli. They believe they are in flag mode and would part with a late first rounder.
Jason Laycock and a third rounder for Aaron Fiora would be a win/win

I find this an incredibly stupid list. If you want to rebuild it’s all the wrong players. If you want to continue pushing (like the club appears to) it is silly. And if you want to refresh it’s the wrong players and too many as well.

It’s actually not completely silly. I don’t disagree with any of the players he’s listed.
The unfortunate thing is that it takes time to turn over a list and it absolutely can’t be done in one season.

You’d want a top 10 pick for Redman - I don’t care that he’s had a below average season, he’s a gun.

I find your continued defence of Dodoro and his list management incredibly stupid. None of the players I’ve listed I would consider off-limits in a trade, if the trade benefits the club and addresses the many deficiencies that exist in the current playing list. Am I saying get rid of all 20+ of those players at once? No. But all of them are either candidates to be delisted, or the guys I’ve listed for trade you could deal on if the price is right. Obviously that triggers you because if that did occur it would be an admittance that your man has ■■■■■■ this list build. You can apply whatever mental gymnastics you like, but as it stands this list is not good enough and the first round drafting the last 4 years at best has been mediocre. This is why we need Dodoro 100% out the door, not lurking in the background acting as puppet master. His ego would prevent us from making wholesale changes because it would be a sign that what he’s done is not good enough.

I don’t know about it being ‘incredibly silly’ but I’m not sure we can delist Goldy, and then trade Bryan and 2MP.
It leaves us having to trade in at least two more ruckman, with at least one of them being a ready to play now guy.

Ben Haynes swinging onto the left from 50m was glorious to watch. He could kick a footy.
Ben Haynes doing absolutely anything else, was not glorious to watch. Especially trying to win a contested ball.
