Together? About pick 20

LAV would not get a game with any other club IMO

If Tsastas and Caddy work out we wouldnā€™t have failed with our very recent attempts.

Yeah the plodder usually only gets 30+ possessions ā€¦ is probably the best rover in the league. Such a scrubber is Darcy. Note 180cm is not short for a rover or for that matter a mid fielder

We are doomed. We lack everything.

I think the hind thing was a contract issue if he played so many games he probably had a trigger.
On Hobbs it isnā€™t heā€™s fault the problem was he wasnā€™t the one we should have drafted we already had a slow small midfield and old dodoro thought he was our big body mid

he has.

Nah itā€™s not ALL bad. I think our midfield mix can work, and we do get the ball inside 50 alot. We really need 2 of our key talls to develop to be stars, ive lost hope on the rest of themā€¦ Reid & Caddy. So there you go, a good midfield with 2 young KPP on each side of the field. (Weā€™ll finish bottom 4 still next year imo)

We REALLY lack on elite kicking throughout the ground.

Youā€™re drunk

The two with us are probably both in our top 10 and the other guy would be if we still had him!

Our non- draft recruiting is way ahead of our top 10 draft recruiting!

This whole thing contradicts itself.
How can our midfield work when our inside 50ā€™s are dogshit?
Thatā€™s a sign the mids are rubbish

Reid is cooked

Screw dodo

Our problem is outside of Merrett, our players cant sustain good form for the full season, hence why we dont have All Australians.

As much as I hate to say it. We need to copy exactly what hawthorn has done in rebuilding the club. Hard calls on players need to be made, bottoming out is inevitable and then some good recruiting. So basically we could be 5-6 years away from being a decent side again and potentially win a final.

Nguyen is pretty damn small. Doesnt seem to be special in any other areas to compensate, I would be suprised to see him drafted

Forget other clubs rejects.

Trade for picks and back the new list management

Living in the past mate, rovers do not exist anymore, they are all midfielders, of which compared to the others he is slow, short and canā€™t kick.

Iā€™m fully on board with moves like this. I think we overvalue Hobbs. He may well be a decent player but at best he could match a guy like Taylor Adams, good honest jobber who is one paced with questionable disposal but who cracks in. I think the market is well aware of his limitations and so at best heā€™s a mid to late second rounder. Getting ahead of the Saints in particular who look like getting a couple of picks in before us as well as making Kako a sure thing is to me a jusifiable and bold list strategy. A mid to late second rounder is far more speculative. In saying this Iā€™m not sure any of those clubs above us would bite at Hobbs. Gold Coast have the picks but the last thing they need is an inside midfielder. Richmond may be tempted depending on what picks they get for the multitude of departees. Getting a more seasoned midfielder in that still young age bracket may be attractive.

I wonder what the chances are of a mid to late second rounder having a better career than Hobbs.

If we select someone who fills a need then its a decent chance they have a better career with us than he would have
