I think that’s tripe. Essendon’s fanbase is arguably the most passionate in the AFL. Have a look at how they’ve stuck by the club, the last decade. Every team has theatre goers. And when times are tough, even the poor old supporters are copping it.
If Essendon’s supporters are theatre goers and just in it for a chat, then all those on this forum who’ve ditched memberships are no better. Truth is, that’s not true, and Essendon’s supporters are as passionate as any.

Well said. It was a nonsense point. Everyone is frustrated but the Essendon fans are as devoted and committed as any. Their crowds are the ultimate proof.

Ah yes good call. Limits the trade options quite a bit though, I would’ve thought. Pretty sure most clubs interested in Parish would’ve only considered him as a FA without having to cough up picks.

“Finlay MacRae is a shinty player from Kintail who plays for Kinlochshiel. He is a Scottish International as well as Player of the Year 2008.”

Does he have anything going for him or have any potential? Why hasn’t he got a game after the Pies were decimated at times with injury?
Another guy who can join our long list of mids who are one dimensional and can’t really play anywhere other than on-ball.
