Oh, they are almost certainly not going to be as good as Zach. Fk all players are 4xB&F, 3XAA before the age of 30 material.
But that really isn’t the point being made by WOB. If Zach wants out, we could use that to bring in (say) three players who can help us reshape both the list and gamplan to be more competitive over the next X number of years.

This would only work because McGrath would have to self report on himself during the games when he’s out of position or ■■■■■ up, and we have a good history of self reporting, so we’ll be sweet.
Merrett is at him multiple times a game it feels like over this. They love an in game debate.

The thing with Draper is that it leaves us with Goldstein, Bryan and Vigo.
None of which can be relied upon.
If we don’t bring in a decent ruck when we trade Draper, then we go backwards. That’s just a fact.
Now…we might be okay with going backwards next year.
I’m fine with trading Draper.

It would be interesting to hear the post season discussions at club level of where our club is at. I’ve got a feeling Brad gave all the older guys a good chance to break their finals drought, now that got us no where he’s decided to reshape the side. This trade period will say a lot on where the club think they are at.
