Works well given that one of our resting rucks will at some point have a stint in the forward line. But where do you think that leaves Jones? Heā€™s OOC. I donā€™t want to write him off.

We get TM via FA; heā€™s not lumbering, is quick for his size is a good kick and knows how to lead. Iā€™d only do it if we trade Stringer, hopefully I made this clear

Didnā€™t mind Jones in that roaming wing forward kind of role personally. Kind of Dempsey like at Geelong I thinkā€¦just not as much of an accumulator.

Heā€™s agile enough to do that and if I recall correctly was actually decent in it. But Iā€™ve wiped most of the season from my memory bank so could be miles off.

Itā€™s Caddy time.

If, big if, we can fix our ball movement into fifty, and add some better pressure actual dangerous smalls, Kako being one, Wright, Caddy and Langford should be able to kick a big tally between them.

But why? so we can again finish 10th-13th?

Play the kids / 20 to 24 year olds that have been played out of position their whole careers and see what they can do for a season or two.

Your preaching what Iā€™ve been saying for the last two years, cox has only looked good when played forward and would make a good match up now with caddy as they can both be the hard running forward types that push up and get back.
Put stringer in the canon keep Langford as a third tall and load the fck up on smalls around them and we could have a dangerous forward line

Membrey is a great short-term option if we are planning on aiming for finals but finishing 10th over the next two years.

Not sure what the next coach would do with him, though.

Cox as a ruck, even as a backup? Not sure heā€™d manage. Wright I understand. Handy depth for mine. Itā€™s a shame that he canā€™t do much well other than kicking straight because that trait is rolled gold.

Jones will be 24 by the time the season starts so the time for excuses is gone. One more year to see what heā€™s got.

Cox rucked last season in bits when he was playing on the wing. As in, did the ruck in the throw ins around the ground where he was.

Itā€™s not outrageous to say he canā€™t continue to work on that and do a little bit.
