Caddy and Mckay

Get it done Rosa!

I don’t think McKay will want to leave.

I reckon a fair trade would be petracca for de koning (Gawn replacement), cerra (dees nearly snared him in 2021) and carlton’s first rounder this year (after bids it’s probably pick 13).

Only party who may have an issue with this is de koning given max just signed a 3 year deal.

As we have seen with Jackson, Grundy, and now fullarton - nobody is going near number 1 ruck duties til Gawn retires.

Stringer has player option to accept- 1 year deal but he is fighting for 2 years on better terms

If they were smart they should imo. Could net several top ten picks and young talent. If players aren’t 100% onboard they should be offloaded instantly

With the shocking injuries Petracca copped, he will never be the player he was.

Oliver two years ago would have netted 2 top 10 picks…now you’d get 1 mid first round

Whatever we do…we cannot give in and give Stringer 2 years.

So he’s with us for another year at a minimum. Great. Triggers are terrible imo. If players think they’ll be good enough to warrant another deal at the end of a contract then they should let their form do the talking. If they’re not 100% confident then the club shouldn’t agree to the length. Triggers are an easy way out for both parties. Another half measure

So many fragile egos at that club. He should be happy he has 5 year contract

I still reckon you can get a good first rounder for him. He’s a top quality player.

A lot of risk involved. Probably worth Melbourne just keeping him.

He comes with massive baggage though now.

Not sure clubs would risk a top 10 pick given we now know what we do
