West Coast aren’t getting ■■■■ except for picks for any want away players.
Not until they start winning games under a new coach.
Sound time to invest. WAs property markets on the move and you can still get quite a bit for your money.
Lot more than Sydney
ugle-Hagan likely ends up at swans under the no ****head policy. and to get away from media but his value is trash now. Will need to be swans a first and JUH
And dogs get a first.
And eagles get a first too.
Reading between the lines JUH will be lucky to be playing any football next year. Let alone another club.
Reid dating a Victorian girl also a big factor
Sister of one of ours….
Harley Reid is reportedly set to put off making any decision about his AFL future until later in the 2025 season, with a deal of up to $2 million a season expected to be tabled to the youngster.
Reid reportedly wants to wait and see the club’s direction under new coach Andrew McQualter before making a decision, according to Code Sports.
The national draft class of 2023, where Reid was the No. 1 pick, is the first group of first-round selections to sign mandatory three-year deals instead of two-year contracts.
It means Reid still has two years to run on his current deal, worth around $250,000 plus match payments a season.
However, his next deal for 2027 and beyond – whether he remains at West Coast or looks elsewhere – is reportedly set to be in the realm of $1.5m to $2m a season.
Reid is understood to be open-minded about his future in Western Australia but isn’t going to be rushed into committing to the club long-term.
And playing a large factor in his decision to stay or go could be what happens with his partner and current Carlton AFLW player Yasmin Duursma.

Duursma has been living in Perth with Reid since completing the most recent AFLW season but she will soon return to Victoria to start pre-season.
Her presence in Western Australia has helped Reid settle in Perth. However, with Duursma and Reid’s family in Melbourne, it could sway him to take up an offer at a Victorian club.
Rivals clubs are expected to table deals in the realm of $20 million over 10 years to Reid for 2028 and beyond and therefore the youngster is in no rush to make up his mind, with such a large career decision on the horizon.
Duursma is also the sister of Essendon wingman Xavier and North Melbourne forward Zane, and those clubs will undoubtedly be keen to use any pull they have to lure Reid, who is widely considered to be the best prospect of the last decade.

Joining Port Adelaide through the draft in 2022, Durrsma requested a move back to Victoria in 2023, listing family as the reason.
Both her brothers and her family live in Melbourne and she was relieved when she got her wish in December 2023, so it appears unlikely she would be lured out of Victoria.
“My brother Xavier got a trade home to Essendon, so just being close to family in Victoria and Zane’s draft coming up before I made my decision, it was highly likely he’d also end up in Melbourne as well,” Duursma said at the time.
“I thought I’d like to be back in Victoria with family and make it more enjoyable for me to be around footy.”

However, she has spent plenty of time away from home to be by Reid’s side.
Reid and Duursma celebrated their one-year anniversary in January and have quickly become one of footy’s biggest power couples.
Celebrating their anniversary last month Reid took to social media to share loved-up pictures together in a heartfelt post.
“1 lap with this amazing human,” Reid captioned the Instagram Story to his more than 120,000 followers, which Duursma re-posted.

Can we also offer a good Father offer to Yasmin. What’s the salary cap in the AFLW
Could backfire if they break up.
If I based multi-million dollar decisions based on my girlfriend in my early twenties it’d be the same as making life choices via a palm reader.
Already been posted
Happy to read it again and again though
TBH Mitch Cleary is making all that up I reckon
He’s gone Chad.
Our chance to get involved in a 3 way trade to get Harley Reid
Swans get - Melbournes first+WC first
WC get - Warner+Essendons first
Essendon get - Harley Reid
With other picks and what not throw in
I don’t like the assumption that Harley will become the best player in the league, like it’s a God given right based on his physical advantages.
I realise not everyone is saying this, but it’s certainly implied.
It takes a heck of a lot of yakka to force your way into the Best 10 in the comp, and stay there.
I’ll be ecstatic if we pull it off, though apprehensive at the cost which I’m convinced will include a very good player, and roughly 10% of the Cap in the early years.
Pickett to Fremantle.
Warner to West Coast.
Reid to Essendon.
In the bag.
MEGA TRADE
Nahh, she’s not that good.
Can stay at FARK CARLTON.
