Iām caught in two minds. Id like Reid to show his full potential this year, but Iād probably rather him struggle with home sickness, get in a fight at the pub and make it a bit easier for WC to let him go.
If he shows his full potential this year i donāt think WC will let him go.

If Reid came back to Melbourne and went to Collingwood or Geelong. Iād probably be done with football.
Needs to be done this year if possible to Essendon. If heās there any longer young eagles fans might switch clubs.

Anyone else find it odd that Reid didnāt poll a single vote in the 2024 rising star award?
Perhaps once he got suspended there was a collective decision that giving him any votes would be pointless

Pretty sure He was the favourite until he got suspended. They vote for it at the end of the year, unlike the Brownlow

Havenāt read through all the pages so this might have been mentioned, but hirds confidence he will come back to Victoria made me think he knows something from within the club.
I dunno if i like these massive plays for one star player, unless youāre already a top side itās never helped middle or lower ladder teams in the past.
Iād almost prefer we use to two first rounders this year add to our small forward talent, get a guy like LDU over for free.

You are mistaken. Vozzo was appointed to Essendon December 2022, Harley drafted 20th November 2023.
Rohan OāBrien was there though.

FC didnāt make a prelim with Judd but we have coach who made 2 prelims (with a rabble club / list)ā¦ so maths suggests we might do ok?
Thatās why Iād wait to next year to make the play for Harley.
